About Me

S. LaShay Dowley is a Marriage and Family Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Christian Sex Therapist, and Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor with over twenty years’ experience in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, theology, counseling, and public policy. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in General Psychology, and an alumna of Richmont Graduate University (i.e., Formerly Psychological Studies Institute). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Urban Ministry & Public Policy and Economic Development from Beulah Heights University, and Associate of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University.

She is the founder and Director of Clinical Affairs at Enduring Connections Counseling Group, Inc., Enduring Connections at Mountain Park, and Connections Restored. 

Therapeutic services are offered in Downtown Decatur, Suwanee, Lilburn, and Tucker at Enduring Connections Counseling Group, Inc. 

ECCG Inc., a counseling and leadership development organization, assists individuals, couples, groups, families, and corporate teams to unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding them back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. S. LaShay Dowley specializes in clinical issues as phase of life transitions, sexual abuse and trauma, sexual addiction, sexual pain, teen abuse/trauma, substance addiction, psychosis, personality development, sexual and gender identity concerns, depressive and anxiety disorders, marital and family conflict, family violence, stress management, faith-based issues, leadership development.

S. LaShay Dowley has supported extensively at the graduate academic level as director of clinical affairs at Richmont Graduate University, adjunct educator for Institute for Sexual Wholeness, clinical supervisor, and program evaluator/consultant at PawKids Inc.

S. LaShay Dowley, a member and previous Chapter President for the National Association for Women Owned Small Businesses for the Conyers' Chapter, her work has included leadership initiatives for various non-profit and faith-based organizations in both main stage and small group teaching environments. Her passion has been widely in the areas of leadership resiliency and stress management.

S. LaShay Dowley has been a consultant for a racial reconciliation group, “White Parents Confronting Racism,” presenter for The Department of Human Resources, Emory University, American Association for Christian Counselors, The Warrior Alliance, Chik Fil a, Doraville Chamber of Commerce and for a number of other non-profits, commercial organizations, local churches, and general audiences. She serves as a credible source speaking on topics such as “The Social and Physiological Impact of Covid -19 (Health and Social) on Students of Color,” “Coercion vs Consent,” “Stress Reduction and Relaxation,” “Sexual Intimacy & Personality,” “Intimacy Restored, “A Celebration of Sex, “Naked and Unashamed, “Intimacy after Infidelity,” “Leading with Resilience,” “Building Parental Resiliency,” “Readjustment Needs of Military Personnel, Veterans, and Their Families,” and “Policing: Managing Stress and Building Resiliency. ”

S. LaShay Dowley has additionally been a speaker on syndicated online radio stations such as, The Family Meeting Survival Radio Network, and Girlfriends Pray, and Real Talk . 

S. LaShay Dowley is an interactive, process oriented, solution-focused counselor. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
